This blogger's makeup collection is insane
Is there anything more joyous than spending an evening all by yourself with just your laptop and a bar of Dairy Milk for company? Admittedly, there are probably a lot of things, but for the purpose of this article there isn't, ok.
But what do you watch when you're home alone and free of judgement? Flog It? An episode of Friends that you know off by heart? A whole weeks worth of Love Island? Or, even worse, Britain's Got More Talent with Stephen Mulhern?
Personally I like to watch something a little different (and no, its not anything of the pornographic variety), it's makeup collection videos.
I know it sounds weird, but if you type 'makeup collection video' into YouTube, I promise that you will loose at least 2 hours of your life to videos of Ikea Alex drawers filled to the brim with foundation.
And trust me, if you're someone (like most people) that just has one makeup bag for all your beautifying products, this will be a whole new world to you.
But recently I discovered Desi Perkin's makeup collection, and to be honest with you I'm still not over it.
Desi is a 30-year-old beauty YouTuber, who started her channel over 3 years ago and now has over 2 million subscribers.
And as you can imagine, someone with that influence has amassed a whole lotta makeup.
I think I can hear Angels singing.
Desi created her own storage system using clear clothing drawers from an American shop called 'The Container Store'. But you could create a similiar system using the Muji Stackable Acrylic CD Boxes.
Desi has even labelled all of her drawers because that's how seriously she takes her makeup storage (girl after our own heart).

Yeah, not only does Desi have a drawer for spare 'Booty Blenders', she also has a drawer for 'Backup Booty Blenders'.
I mean, just look how many lip liners there are...it's like being in the MAC Pro store.
And we haven't even mentioned her skincare collection yet, which tbh is better stocked than my local Superdrug.
Basically we want to move into Desi's beauty room and never, ever leave.
