A 28-year-old man has been charged with murdering his baby daughter.

Willow Lee, aged four months, was found seriously injured at a house in Blackpool on 3 December, Lancashire Police said.

She was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital and transferred to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital but died on 6 December.

Her father, Jordan Lee, of Blackpool, has been charged with her murder and will appear before Preston Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.

Previously, Detective Inspector Mark Dickinson, of the Force Major Investigation Team, said: “My thoughts remain very much with this baby’s wider family and they are being supported by specialist officers.

“While a man has been charged, our investigation is very much ongoing and I would appeal for anyone with information to contact us.”

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting log 1134 of 3 December 2020, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
