Billie Eilish wore a unique take on the corset dress to the Critics Choice Awards
Billie Eilish is no stranger to experimenting with her style, and over the years, we've seen her pull off some of the most iconic fashion moments. From her 2023 gothic Met Gala look (which also featured the exaggerated sultry braid) to the oversized Chanel bouclé suit she wore to the Oscars in 2020, what we've learned about Billie, is that she's not afraid to try something new.
The 22-year-old's latest look is a first from her, too: a unique take on the corset dress, which she debuted at last night's Critics Choice Awards in Santa Monica, California.
To unpack, Billie stepped out onto the red carpet wearing a Thom Browne design. It consisted of a strappy mid-length black corset dress styled over a fitted white collared shirt that reached the floor.
Billie paired the unconventional fit with a pair of 90s-style tinted round glasses, complete with a nude lip, striking eyeliner, a touch of blush and statement sculpted brows. She then accessorised with an assortment of silver rings and mismatched silver earrings.
In terms of the singer's two-toned red and black hair, Billie went for a sleek, straight look and tied it back in a low ponytail. She kept her bangs separate and styled in a middle parting, securing them over her ears with black hair clips.
During the night, Billie and her brother Finneas O'Connell were nominated for Best Song for their Barbie track, 'What Was I Made For'.
The duo were up against Dua Lipa, who penned 'Dance the Night' for the film, and Ryan Gosling's 'I'm Just Ken,' which ended up taking home the prize.
