Bikinis, sheer 'fits and hotel robes: Alix Earle nails the Italy holiday wardrobe
Remember last summer when seemingly everyone was jet-setting to Lisbon? Whether it was a girls' trip, couples getaway or hen do, the Portuguese capital was the destination of 2023. Well, this year, it seems Italy is the place to be. So if you have yet to book your summer holiday, take note.
Emily Ratajkowski was one of the first A-listers to spark the trend, enjoying a European break in honour of her 33rd birthday. And it's not hard to see the appeal. Stunning landscapes provided the most breathtaking of backdrops for her Instagram snaps, elevating her holiday wardrobe that was full of only the biggest summer fashion trends. Think plenty of crochet, sheer beach cover-ups and the most oversized of sunglasses.
Alix Earle has taken a page out of the model, actress and author's book (not literally, ofc) touching down for her own Italian adventure, and with equally drool-worthy vacay attire.
We can't think of a better way to spend a summer's day than sunbathing on the beach in Capri. Preferably wearing Alix's Bydee bikini – that was perfect for the sunny setting with its Italian tile print – and sun cream close to hand. The influencer also shared a snap of her boat trip, which saw her layer a white crochet summer dress over her swimwear and add a Miu Miu woven raffia bucket hat on top of her blonde tresses. She again dressed to the Italian theme with her Louis Vuitton tote bag branded with a 'Capri' sticker.
Elsewhere from her trip, Alix also shared a look at her date night outfit that included a cream blouse with an XL bust cut-out and scarf neck, paired with a cream ruched-waist chiffon midi skirt. The ensemble is from New York-based label Danielle Guizio and nails the tomato girl summer aesthetic that took over our TikTok FYP last summer.
