Big Brother Chanelle Hayes marries fiancé Dan Bingham as TOWIE icon shares peek into wedding
Big Brother's Chanelle Hayes has finally tied the knot with her long-term beau, Dan Bingham, in a cosy ceremony attended by close friends and family.
The much-anticipated wedding comes a year after the pair announced their engagement. The 36-year-old mum of two has yet to share any snaps from her big day, but TOWIE's Maria Fowler gave fans a sneak peek into the reception.
Maria, an original member of the ITVBe show until she left the show in 2011, couldn't resist sharing a glimpse of her close friend's festivities on Instagram. The mystery venue was adorned with stunning flowers and featured exposed brick walls and a high-beamed wooden ceiling.
Chanelle tried to keep her wedding dress a secret, but Maria shared a snap of the bride dancing in a short white frock with lace sleeves, topped off with a matching veil. She looked absolutely radiant.
The couple announced their engagement back in May 2023.
The TV star, who has openly shared her struggles with weight in the past, reportedly shed 9 stones ahead of her wedding day. Earlier this month, she shared a video on Instagram showcasing her body transformation over the years and posted: "POV: You've been every size."
The former Big Brother contestant added: "What even is a summer body anyway?! I had a lovely time on every single one of these holidays and I ranged from size 6-18 (to pregnant! )."
She followed with: "I've chosen all blue bikinis because sometimes our body image makes us feel blue. I wish I could tell my younger self to just enjoy every single moment because it's the memories that counts. Not the bikini size. Do you feel body confident? " Her post was quickly flooded with positive comments from friends and fans.
One pal replied: "Known u through all these pics and yr personally stays the hilarious loving way! Its the person on the inside that counts a u are a Diamond! Love u."
Another fan chimed in: "Love this and your total honesty and realistic attitude ... we have so so much unrealistic pressure to look fabulous..."
"And you look gorgeous on each and every pic also," wrote a third admirer.
Chanelle to fame on Big Brother in 2007, where her romance with housemate Ziggy drew plenty of attention. Now the TV personality has told fans she's turned her back on showbiz.
After retraining as a nurse, Chanelle took to social media to reveal that she had already landed her first job upon graduation. In an interview with The Sun, she shared: "I'm on placement now for three months at a hospital - I'm really enjoying it."
