The bestselling wallpaper designs of 2024: William Morris reigns

Wallpaperdirect has noted a 70 per cent increase in searches for wallpaper this year. 'Wallpaper is art that you can cover your space in,' says Melanie Adams, global head of wallpaperdirect, who has 'observed a growing demand for classic designs, even as the colours and scales of the original designs become outdated', which in turn is inspiring a new generation of wallpaper users.
Celebrating its 25th birthday, Wallpaperdirect (which was launched in 1999 by C. Brewer & Sons) today offers a huge selection of more than 25,000 wallpapers – from Andrew Martin to Clarke & Clarke, and William Morris to Osborne & Little – dispatching hundreds of parcels every week and tens of thousands of samples each month.
