The best vintage moments on the 2023 Met Gala red carpet
The 2023 Met Gala was always going to be an interesting one. With the theme centring around Karl Lagerfeld, there was ample opportunity to embrace a little vintage red-carpet fashion, something which has been a growing trend at the Met Gala, and on the red carpet more generally, in recent years.
A number of the famous guests chose to wear creations by the man himself, looking into the archives of Chanel, Chloé and Karl Lagerfeld to find their Met Gala looks, while a number of stars chose to have dresses recreated based on iconic catwalk moments from his time at these fashion houses.
Below, we round up the best vintage and vintage-inspired moments on the 2023 Met Gala red carpet.

This is the road that Naomi Campbell went down for the 2023 Met Gala, choosing a beautiful satin gown from Chanel's spring/summer 2010 couture collection.
