The Best Tweezers
Mini Slant Tweezer by Tweezerman
A perfect hand luggage beauty buy, these compact tweezers from Tweezerman may be small, but they combine all of the brand’s impressive functionality for targeted and super accurate plucking.
If you’re looking to invest in one all round pair, you’ll probably think about opting for something more heavy duty than these mini slant tweezers, but don’t be deceived by their size. Not only are they extremely easy to use, but the results speak for themselves and for a higher end brand, this pair is comparatively affordable.

Pointed Tweezers by No7
If you’re happy with the arch of your brows and want to ensure that they’ll frame your face to perfection at all times, then make these affordable No7 tweezers your new beauty bag staple.
When time is on your side, these tweezers are the ideal tool to remove the odd out-of-line hairs that will keep the shape of your brows looking clean and polished. Perfect if you want to draw attention to bold, statement brows, while keeping the rest of your complexion balmy and natural.
While pointed tweezers have a bad reputation for pinching, these prove to fight against the stereotype and provided precision plucking without any added pain.

Slanted Tweezers by Liz Earle
Red Woman Liz Earle is known for her no nonsense approach to beauty. Complementing the brand’s extensive make-up and skincare ranges, the accompanying tools are all incredibly functional and reasonably affordable too.
A great mid price point, these slanted tweezers have been expertly designed for precision plucking and perfect control with their wider hollowed out grip.
For a clean finish and to avoid fine hairs breaking, always pluck in the direction of hair growth. Plucking after a bath or shower is also advisable as it will help to open up pores and reduce any discomfort.

Precision Point Tweezer by Mister Mascara
On first glance, these tweezers look scary (and they are very sharp, so be careful), but the fine pointed end makes them fantastic at removing hairs right from the root so that pesky strays stay away for longer.
If you get your brows shaped professionally they’re great to have to hand to keep the shape, especially if you like a strong arch – just hold the skin taut before you pluck to make sure the hair is properly grabbed.
However, they’re not the best option for fine, hard-to-see hairs which often need something wider to find and grip them, so combine your at-home tweeze with a classic slanted pair for a perfect groomed brow.

Tweezers by Laura Mercier
Compact and oh so easy to use, the Laura Mercier tweezers (designed by Tweezerman) are a great addition to any beauty bag.
Stainless steel with a slanted tip, they make the dreadful task of eyebrow plucking almost pain free. Add in the ergonomic grip and those fine hairs are easily and precisely removed without any tugging or finger slipping.
At £18.50 they might be considered a more expensive buy, but with a bit of looking after, cleaning and if you keep them in their pouch, they will last forever.

Precision Slanted Tweezers by Superdry
When you’re in a hurry, these Superdry tweezers will step in to save your brows from being neglected.
The curved design and slightly rubberised feel provides added grip, making them the perfect option for quick brush-ups. The clever, slanted tip easily plucks fine hairs for precision and larger surface area if you’re looking for a change of shape.
A purse-friendly buy that’s built for on-the-go use, they’re an ideal travelling partner for holidays and festivals.

Slanted Tweezers by Shavata
Better for larger areas, brow and lash specialist Shavata has designed its slanted tweezers with a wider grip for added control – they even promise to be as easy to use for those who struggle with their eyesight.
Avoid over plucking and shortening browns, instead invest additionally in a pair of precision beauty scissors to trim the outer edges to keep a flattering fuller brow length. With numerous brow tools from arch enhancer pencils to complementing extreme lash volume mascara, this is a great brand to check out if you’re keen to make strong brows and emphasised lashed your main beauty feature.

Pointed Slant Tweezer by Tweezerman for Benefit
As a make-up brand with some of the best brow tools around (the entire Red office keeps its brilliant Brow Zings shaping kit to hand), it makes sense for Benefit to have its own tweezers.
The mix of pointed and slanted end combines the best of both worlds when it comes to at-home tweezing: they’re great for precision plucking but also easily grab and remove annoying fine hairs under the brow bone.
As a more expensive buy, they’re best suited to those who do lots of tweezing and want to invest in a quality pair – just make sure you look after them, keeping the rubber tip on the end of the tweezers to keep them sharp and they’ll last you a lifetime.

Straight Tweezers by Dirty Works
With their cute polka dot packaging, these tweezers are definitely cute and eye-catching, making a welcome change from other plainer, steel styles.
While the straight shape makes using these difficult for precision plucking, they’re a great budget beauty buy and the perfect choice for thicker brows or hairs that just need a quick tidy rather than a full reshape.
The ends are also quite blunt, making it near on impossible to over-pluck, making them great for novice tweezers who are worried about DIY brow shaping.

Tweezers by Bobbi Brown
Sharp, precise, and durable, Bobbi Brown’s Rubis tweezers are sure to keep brows under control in between salon visits. Removing even the smallest of stray hairs, these stainless steel tweezers feel robust and durable and are well worth the higher price tag.
Leaving a smooth finish, without breaking the skin around the sensitive eye area, they are a beauty bag essential for tending to your brows and maintaining their shape on a daily basis. Make sure you keep the plastic cap on to protect the slanted tips to keep them sharp so you can pluck to perfection.
