From Gala veterans Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen to a debut Met outing from Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus, the 2019 Met Gala saw a wave of couples go big with co-ordinated looks for the night's “Camp: Notes on Fashion” theme.
Screams went up from beside the red carpet when Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth made their first Met Gala appearance as a couple, while a newly married Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas came out after their surprise Vegas wedding.
Miley Cyrus looked like a green and black wrapped Christmas present in her sequinned Saint Laurent dress and sheer black dotted tights.
Hemsworth went for a more subtle black suit and open-collared shirt.
Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse looked loved up as they posed together during their second appearance at the Met Gala.
Reinhart wore a pale blue off-the-shoulder romper with oversized sleeves and a floral headpiece. Sprouse took her side in a nude-colored top and red vest.
As usual, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West took the Met Gala by storm. Though she's never a slouch in the wardrobe department, Kim's Met Gala look took things one step further in the name of ‘camp.’
For the first time in twenty years, Mugler spent eight months creating an ensemble for Kardashian, which was meant to encapsulate her inner “California girl" and featured hanging gems which shimmered like droplets of water.
Kanye went for a more understated look, wearing a Dickie’s zip-up jacket, costing less than $50.
