Best dressed at Venice Film Festival, from Claire Foy to Dakota Johnson
Move aside Cannes: Venice Film Festival is here to prove that it to boasts both A-listers and A-list style.
On day one of the 2018 festival, Hollywood stars descended on the Italian city to promote their new films – and fashion. Claire Foy, of ‘The Crown’ fame, made a style statement in a pink Valentino dress paired with a red cape. Naomi Watts, also in pink, opted for a tiered, Armani gown.
‘Poldark’ actress Gabrielle Wilde continued the colour scheme and arrived in a strapless, red ballgown by Russian designer Ulyana Sergeenko. The men were just as sharply dressed. Ryan Gosling ditched the tie but worked a brilliant white suit jacket with a matching shirt. Meanwhile Jason Clarke donned a slick tux.
Elsewhere, Olivia Colman and Emma Stone arrived to promote their upcoming film ‘The Favourite’ on day three of the festival. Colman wowed in a black jumpsuit – with cape – by British designer Stella McCartney while Emma Stone worked two looks from the brand she models for: Louis Vuitton.
