TikTok swears this is the best camera to bring to the Eras Tour for actually good concert videos
To be fully real here, I used to be severely anti-concert imagery (photos, videos, the whole nine) for a minute. However, I’m officially a convert after this summer. After all, we’ve been blessed with some not-so-normal concerts (hello, Eras Tour! Renaissance Tour! You too, Love On Tour!) that, quite frankly, we will be telling our children about.
Look, we need to show our children that Taylor Swift crafted a nearly 3.5-hour career-roundup spectacular complete with replicas of her most iconic looks. If they aren’t jealous, we didn’t do our jobs, people!
You could just pull out your phone and call it a day, but the TikTok streets are saying that there’s a much better option — the Panasonic Lumix DC-ZS70S. Yup, you read that right: We’re using digital cameras again! It’s definitely pricey, but a worthwhile investment so you can have that perfect concert content for years to come.
And before you ask, yes, the camera is totally allowed in the venue. Just as long as they’re compact without a detachable lens, you’re good to go!

The Panasonic Lumix DC-ZS70 is a small but super-powerful on-the-go camera. It has a high-sensitivity sensor that helps it capture clear images in tough lighting situations, plus 4K photo and video capabilities. The 30x zoom lens covers a focal range from 24 to 720 millimeters (OK, nosebleeds!).
If you’re prone to dizzying convert vids (same), the camera’s image stabilization feature helps to minimize camera shake. It’s got a 180-degree tilting screen for all of your vlogging needs. There’s also built-in Wi-Fi that allows you to send your content straight to your phone for immediate posting.
In this TikTok video, @tswiftclips talks about buying the Panasonic camera specifically for the Eras Tour because of its zoom lens. After attending two shows (the universe has favorites!) directly on the floor and then seated way in the back, the camera caught super clear photos — even when fully zoomed in. In another post, they compare the Panasonic videos to the ones from their iPhones. Let’s just say, the results are shocking. That clarity!!
Another user, @triplemichelle, shows one of their videos from the tour (Taylor’s singing “You Belong With Me,” if you were wondering). The results are super crisp and detailed, and the videos honestly seem like they’re taken from a few sections above the stage. Then, they zoom out to show that it was actually taken from one of the last rows in the venue. Basically, that 30x zoom lens is no joke.
We all deserve concert photos and videos so crisp that they make us feel like we never left the stadium, right? Right! So go get this camera before everyone snatches it up! Because we have a feeling that every other artist is planning their own Eras Tour soon.
