When is Black Friday 2024?

Black Friday falls on 29th November this year, and most deals will stay active until Cyber Monday (2nd December) at the very least.

Some sales, however, will roll over into what's sometimes called Cyber Week, lasting well into the first week of December.

Does luggage go on sale during Black Friday?

Most types of product are widely discounted for Black Friday and Cyber Monday – and luggage is no exception. This is an opportune time for luggage brands to attract buyers with low prices, as Brits set their sights on winter sun holidays and festive family visits.

Some luggage brands offer more deals (and better savings) than others during Black Friday. Two key brands to watch are Samsonite and Antler.

How we pick luggage deals for Black Friday

Sometimes, a sub-par luggage brand will try to smuggle its suitcases into Black Friday coverage by offering stupendous levels of discount – but unfortunately, no amount of money off would make their luggage a good buy.

We choose our Black Friday luggage deal picks, which are regularly updated below, based on quality, as well as the money and percentage saved. Most of our selections have been tested hands-on and reviewed favourably by the Good Housekeeping Institute.

Others are personally recommended by an expert from our team of consumer journalists. If airport customs included a luggage quality check, these suitcases would pass it with flying colours.

Oh and remember to check whether a suitcase conforms to your chosen airline's rules, before you buy or fly.
