How to find the best Cyber Monday fashion deals 2023
Most of our go-to fashion brands and retailers now run Black Friday offers right through to 11.59pm on Cyber Monday, so it pays to shop around so you can find the best bargains for you and your wardrobe.
You may find that it's actually more affordable to buy your favourite pieces from larger retailers, such as John Lewis, Net-a-Porter or Marks & Spencer (which now stocks several guest fashion brands), although you'll also find some brilliant deals on individual retailers' websites, so do your due diligence before adding to basket.
Whenever you're shopping the sales, it's easy to be drawn in by tiny price tags, but we definitely believe you should only snap up pieces that you'll get plenty of wear out of. No matter how tempting, there's really no point in buying a sales piece in the wrong size or fit in the hope you'll end up making it work. Hey, we've all been there.
What is Black Friday?
Black Friday began over in the US as the major sales day after Thanksgiving, and first arrived in the UK back in 2010. It's now one of the biggest sales events of the year, alongside Amazon Prime Day and the January sales.
Most fashion brands and retailers run discounts on full-price items for at least 24 hours on Black Friday itself, but it's common for the sales to begin a week or so before the big day. The offers tend to keep running through Cyber Weekend and into Cyber Monday, the first Monday after Black Friday, which falls today.
When is Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2023?
In 2023, Black Friday fell on Friday 24 November. It always takes place on the fourth Friday of November, after Thanksgiving. However, deals start running in the week before this or even earlier in the month and last through to Cyber Monday, which is today, Monday 27 November.
