All the best beauty from the 2025 Golden Globes
Glamour is back and better than ever thanks to the 2025 Golden Globes red carpet.
Stars gathered at the Beverly Hilton in LA to celebrate some of the top achievements in film and television last night. Along with smokey eyes and exquisite red lips, old Hollywood-inspired updos and effortless waves added extra dimension to the evening's star-studded event.
Read on for a few of our favourite hair and make-up looks from the 82nd Golden Globe Awards.
Demi Moore
In addition to loose waves in her signature waist-length hair, Golden Globe winner Demi Moore's radiant skin and soft, bronze-hued make-up stole the show. The star's beauty look was crafted by celebrity artist Rokael Lizama for Dior, with hair done by Dimitris Giannetos for Moroccanoil.
Emma Stone
Emma Stone showcased a new pixie-style haircut at the Golden Globes, created by celebrity stylist Mara Roszak using the newly revealed Evergreen Styling Cream from her eponymous ROZ Hair brand. Her lit-from-within skin was the result of prep by facialist Iván Polard.
Zendaya
Golden Globe nominee Zendaya's bouncy, voluminous bob was styled by Coree Moreno using ghd's Classic Curl Tong for long-lasting vintage-inspired waves (mousse was a must, too). A rosy bronze make-up look complemented her auburn hair and golden-orange Louis Vuitton gown for an altogether Old Hollywood aesthetic.
Justine Lupe
With her multi-dimensional bronde hair shade complete with an easy wave, Nobody Wants This star Justine Lupe's fresh-faced make-up look offered a lesson in low-key elegance. Her undone hair was styled by celebrity favourite Barb Thompson for Phyto.
Leighton Meester
Auburn is clearly the shade of the moment; we loved the softness of actress Leighton Meester's Titian-esque updo paired with face-framing tendrils and a relaxed fringe. Gold shadow blended in the middle of the eyelid made the finished look even more goddess-like.
Zoe Saldaña
Emilia Pérez star Zoe Saldaña sparkled with a smouldering brown smokey eye and sleek updo. Her skin was prepped ahead of the red carpet by make-up artist Vera Steimberg for CurrentBody along with Lord Gavin McLeod-Valentine using Augustinus Bader.
Viola Davis
Actress Viola Davis served captivating beauty at last night's awards thanks to a bold, wine-coloured lip and an abundance of free-flowing curls. Combined with her sequinned Gucci gown, the overall look had a '70s disco feel.
Dakota Fanning
We're taking notes on how Golden Globe nominee Dakota Fanning expertly paired her structured red gown with a bold red lip for the perfect monochromatic look. Make-up artist Erin Ayanian Monroe layered Clé de Peau Beauté Lipstick Matte in Bold as Brick with The Lipstick in Legend of Rouge for depth and lasting power.
Kerry Washington
We loved the statement smokey eye and nude lip combination actress Kerry Washington wore on last night's red carpet. Her look was created by celebrity artist Carola Gonzalez for Beauty Pie, along with glassy centre-parted hair by stylist Takisha Sturdivant Drew using Pattern by Tracee Ellis Ross.
Anya Taylor-Joy
Along with making a serious case for the side parting, as styled by Gregory Russell for L'Oréal, actress Anya Taylor-Joy was a vision on the Golden Globes red carpet with flushed cheeks, groomed brows and bold mascara. Her shimmering peach-toned eyeshadow was a match made in heaven with her blush pink gown, too.
Zoë Kravitz
Sleek ballerina buns took centre stage at this year's awards, and Zoë Kravitz gave a masterclass in the elegant slicked-back style. Winged eyeliner and brushed-up brows added an even more timeless feel.
Alexandra Daddario
Dior’s 999 Rouge lipstick and nail polish are iconic shades made for dazzling red-carpet outings, and the latter was showcased beautifully by The White Lotus actress, whose scarlet satin lip was neatly executed by make-up artist Lottie Stannard. Hair stylist Marty Harper used Kérastase products to create a side-parted ballet bun with mirror-like shine.
Ariana Grande
Wicked star, r.e.m. Beauty founder, and Golden Globe nominee Ariana Grande wore a softer, retro-inspired version of her signature ponytail on the red carpet. She paired it with a minimalist take on '60s make-up, including a matte white eyeshadow and floating liner.
Margaret Qualley
"Margaret’s stunning, crisp Chanel Couture gown was goddess-like and statuesque but still had an ethereal lightness to it. I wanted that mood to be reflected in the make-up look as well," says Chanel make-up artist Tyron Machhausen. "This look was all about the complexion. I wanted it to feel hyper-real, radiant, and polished. The make-up itself was rather minimalist with soft, shimmery accents for the eyes and cheeks, and an overall lit-from-within glow, like a Pre-Raphaelite painting coming to life."
Nicole Kidman
The Babygirl star made a stunning case for a '60s bouffant — with all the volume — on the Golden Globes red carpet. The look was created by Adir Abergel for Bellami Hair.
Michelle Yeoh
Yeoh’s sleek, brow-skimming fringe was the work of hairstylist Renato Campora, who used Joico Dream Blowout Thermal Protection Crème to achieve a glossy (but not too bouncy) finish. Classic subtly winged liner created by make-up artist Soo Park amplified her chic look.
Keira Knightly
A '90s-inspired copper smokey eye by make-up artist Kate Lee added just the right level of drama to Knightly’s shimmering Chanel slip dress. Chanel Rouge Coco Baume Shine in Honey Bliss picked up on the warm tones of her eye make-up and her sharp yet simply styled centre-parted bob was polished yet still understated.
Anna Sawai
The Shōgun star and Best TV Actress winner complemented her timeless custom-made Dior gown with a romantic low ponytail worn at the nape of her neck, and glowing skin courtesy of facialist Iván Polard and make-up artist Yukari Obayashi. Two neutral pink shades of Rouge Dior Contour Lip Liner (in Rose Nude and Rose Spice) created natural-looking fullness and definition.
Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus channeled a '90s supermodel on the red carpet with a wispy layered fringe and twisted updo.
Selena Gomez
Another of our favourite bouncy celebrity bobs of the night, Golden Globe nominee Selena Gomez styled hers with a deep side parting and multidimensional shadow on her lids. The star's hair was styled by Renato Campora for Great Lengths and Joico, along with skin prep and make-up by celebrity artist Hung Vanngo using SK-II and Rare Beauty essentials, and neutral nails by Tom Bachik for Olive & June.
