What is Black Friday?
Black Friday is a discount day that began in the US as a post-Thanksgiving sale. It's become popular in the UK over the past couple of years as it's a great time to buy Christmas presents (or gifts for yourself).Now, Black Friday is often a week-long event, with deals beginning from the Monday before and lasting until Cyber Monday.
When is Black Friday?
This year, Black Friday falls on 29 November. In some places, deals begun in from the beginning of the month, but they're really ramping up from Monday 25 December. They'll likely last until Cyber Monday, which falls on 2 December this year.
Does Amazon do Black Friday deals?
Amazon is one of the biggest suppliers of Black Friday discounts. While it was historically the go-to place for Cyber Monday discounts (expected, as Amazon is the biggest online store), it's also taken to Black Friday deals.
