Ben & Jerrys have collaborated with Nike and the trainers are going for £1k a pair
A Ben & Jerry’s and Nike SB collaboration isn’t exactly what we were expecting to see in fashion news, but let’s face it, 2020 has been anything but ordinary.
The trainers, dubbed the Chunky Dunky, launched in store over the weekend and have already sold out site-wide despite only launching online today.
The limited edition trainers were going for £89.95 on the brand’s Sneakrs platform, but since they’ve sold out, pairs are popping up on the likes of StockX for over £1,000 a pair.
You’ve got to be a serious Ben & Jerry’s fan to fork out that much, but stranger things have happened.

The trainers are in the classic Nike Low Dunk style with very obvious Ben & Jerry’s branding emblazoned all over them (think: Ben & Jerry’s ice cream tubs but on trainers).
They’re finished off with a cow-print accent that runs throughout each of the trainers, adding a playful element to the shoes.
It’s not fun on the outside and business on the inside, either.
The elaborate pattern swirls its way into the insoles, making these limited edition kicks a great purchase for those who were lucky enough to get their hands on a pair.

It’s not confirmed whether or not the Chunky Dunky style is sold out in stores, so it might be worth heading to your local outlet before dropping £1,000 on a second hand pair.
Remember, only select stores are open due to the coronavirus pandemic, so it’s worth doing a double check before hot-footing into town.
If you’re not prepared to spend a casual £1,000 on the limited edition style, perhaps you’ll get lucky in Ben & Jerry’s competition.
You’ll just need to write a 100-word description of an ice-cream inspired skateboard trick (specific, we know) and then you’ll be entered into a prize draw to get a pair for free.
Remember to give the skateboard trick an inventive name (we’re thinking something along the lines of one of their flavours might get them double-taking your application).
Better get your skates on, though, because the competition closes today.
