Ben & Jerry's Just Added 2 New Flavors to Its Permanent Lineup
Both flavors lean hard into that irresistible combo of salty and sweet.
A few days ago, Ben & Jerry’s teased the arrival of a few new-for-2024 flavors by posting a video on its Instagram account. In the short clip, a B&J staffer pulled an all-white pint out of a freezing cold cooler. The ice cream carton was unlabeled, save for a hand-drawn question mark on its lid. As it turns out, the strawberry and pretzel-shaped pillows in the background were the real clues to the Vermont-based ice cream maker’s first drops of the year.
On Wednesday, Ben & Jerry’s announced the arrival of two new flavors, PB S’more and Impretzively Fudged, both of which lean hard into that irresistible combo of salty and sweet. PB S’more does exactly what the name suggests, combining chocolate peanut butter cups with toasted marshmallow ice cream, graham cracker pieces, and marshmallow swirl to elevate the flavor of that campfire favorite. Its shiny new partner, Impretzively Fudged, fills a chocolate ice cream base with pretzel swirls and crunchy fudge-dipped pretzel pieces. (A self-explanatory name, but an ultimately satisfying one.)
"We heard our fans' pleas for chocolate peanut butter cups, and we were excited to include them in our take on such a nostalgic dessert," Ben & Jerry’s Flavor Guru José Ureña said in a statement. "As we were developing the flavor, we were inspired by an internal team tasting [...] of all the ways we like to enjoy our own s'mores. The combinations are limitless, but we think fans will enjoy this interpretation.”

Both new pints have a suggested retail price between $4.99 and $6.99 and will be available at supermarkets and other retailers throughout the United States and will also be part of the lineup at Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shops.
Speaking of those Scoop Shops, the first new flavor to debut in this still-young year was the Strawberry Cheezecake, which is available at Ben & Jerry’s brick-and-mortar locations and also rolling out to U.S. retailers. According to Ben & Jerry’s, Strawberry Cheesecake (with an S) was its fastest-growing ice cream flavor in the past 12 months and was the 4th overall best seller last year. Since people can’t seem to get enough of it, the company has decided to give it a dairy-free companion.
The result, called Strawberry Cheezecake, is a luxe combination of a strawberry cheesecake-flavored base made with oat milk and thick swirls of graham crackers for that essential crunch. And yes, Strawberry Cheezecake is both vegan and completely dairy-free.
“We have wanted to feature this one for a while, but this is a case of good things are worth waiting for. The new oat base really showcases the ingredients and lets the strawberry 'cheezecake' shine through," Colleen Rossell, another Ben & Jerry’s Flavor Guru, said. "It is so creamy that people are surprised every time that it's vegan!”
We can’t wait to see what other flavors Ben & Jerry’s pulls out of its mystery cooler in the months ahead. We’re crossing our fingers for coconut, but we’ll take what we can get.
