How to make a finger painted Mother's Day card
This card involves finger painting – the perfect easy craft for budding artists, as it involves no more equipment than some paints and your finger! Which also makes it a great card making craft to do on a budget.
Just follow our step-by-step video guide above to learn how to make this adorable finger painted card. We've painted a colourful flower, but making this card is a great opportunity to let little ones' imaginations run wild, with any designs they like!
We used a felt tip to write a Mother's Day message under our flower – if your little one can't write yet, you may need to write the message for them.
Warning, finger painting can get messy, so make sure you cover any surfaces before you get started!

How to make a Mother's Day bunting card
This pretty bunting card is the perfect card to make with children – you don't need any previous craft experience. Their mums will love the thought and effort that has gone into making a personalised card. Just make sure to oversee little ones when they're using scissors. Watch our step-by-step video above to learn how to make it – this card is fabulously easy!
You can use any patterned card you like to make your bunting. Adjust the length of the string and number of bunting triangles depending on the width of your card.

Draw a diamond template on a piece of white paper – make the diamond about 5cm high and 3cm wide. Draw round this template on the back of your patterned card five times.
Step 2
Cut out your diamond shapes.
Step 3
Cut a piece of string about 5cm longer than the width of your card.
Step 4
Fold the diamonds round the string to create bunting triangles. Glue the triangles together with a glue dot in the centre of each.
Step 5
Tuck the ends of your string around the inside of your card and stick them down with washi tape.
Step 6
Spell out a message on the front of your card with letter stickers.

Using the soft pencil, draw your words on the front of the card. Place on a piece of foam and use the needle to pierce holes through the letters, around 5mm apart. Remove foam.
