BBC The Traitors fans think contestant misses 'huge clue' after tearful decision
Fans of BBC series The Traitors say that one of the contestants may have missed a 'huge clue' in the game after they made a tearful decision.
On the latest episode aired on Thursday (January 9), it was revealed that instead of choosing a Faithful to murder, Traitors Linda and Minah attempted to recruit another member to join their cause. They narrowed their choice down to three options but eventually decided to send an invitation to Anna.
Anna became emotional before making a choice of whether or not to accept the invitation of recruitment. It came after she was already accused of being a Traitor during a dramatic Round Table. This included from one of the members she considered a close friend on the show in Dan.

She eventually decided to decline the invitation and remain a Faithful. Host Claudia Winkleman delivered the news to the Traitors and as a result all the contestants made it through to the next day. Viewers watching along at home were quick to react on social media with many saying Anna could have missed a big clue.
One said: "'Strong independent woman' is a HUGE clue. Anna could use that if she refused." Another agreed saying: "Ohhhhh and now with the invite saying it’s because she’s a strong independent woman now anna probably knows the traitors are women?"
A third added that the style of writing could give away who wrote the invite to Anna as they added: “Strong independent women” written in classic bubble handwriting highlighting there is a young, female traitor…"
One person commented: "Why would you write ‘strong independent woman’ on the recruitment letter? She knows you’re probably all women now. So dumb." While another claimed that the message did not do enough to convince a Faithful to turn their backs on her teammates. They said: "We want to recruit you because you are a strong independent woman' lol please they didn’t even try to sound convincing, they just want a patsy."
Another viewer also suggested that it was the first wrong move Traitor Minah has made during the series. Her previous decisions have made her come out as a favourite to win. One person commented: "First mistake Minah’s made I feel. Why pick one of two players with a lot of heat on them? Poor choices I feel…."
The Traitors continues tomorrow at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
