BBC The Traitors fans say 'it's a miracle' after 'heartless' decision leaves contestant vulnerable

Fans of BBC series The Traitors say that the latest twist is a 'miracle' after a 'heartless' decision has left one contestant vulnerable.

On the latest episode aired on Wednesday (January 8), it was finally revealed what happened following the explosive events from the previous episode. During Friday (January 3) night's episode, Armani was banished from the castle after receiving the most votes from the other competitors, including her fellow Traitor Minah.

It meant that the Faithfuls had finally uncovered their first Traitor from the game. However, not all of them were safe throughout the night as a handful were in line to be murdered. The latest episode began with the morning after as the group discovered that Maia was murdered and did not enter for breakfast.

However some watching on at home couldn't believe that Linda was not the first Traitor to be caught out. One person posted: "It's a MIRACLE you weren't the first Traitor to go Linda!!"

Another said: "How the hell is Linda still there I'm crying." While one person added: "The fact Linda is gonna make it to the final at this rate is so hilarious but also utterly insane and so embarrassing for the Faithfuls."

Fans were also quick to react on social media after it was finally revealed that Linda and fellow Traitor Minah opted to murder Maia, who had just helped to banish her own Traitor sister previously.

They also predicted that it meant Faithful Freddie was in line to be banished as many contestants started to discuss him possibly being a Traitor.

One said: "Heartless killing Maia but oh so needed to happen or she could coast on sympathy and if she got recruited these lot wouldn’t clock." While another fan agreed by saying: "The faithful would be so dumb to think Freddie would murder Maia after her accusations, so.... obviously, they'll sheeple together and banish him"
