Have your say: which BBC stars are the best value for money (and which are the worst)?

When the BBC released the salaries of their highest-earning talents yesterday, headlines naturally picked out both the shocking disparity between men and women and the lack of diversity in the corporation's upper echelons.

What was just as surprising, however, is quite how much some of the 'stars' earn for what they do. Call it fine negotiating by agents or gross unfairness, but the likes of DIY SOS fixer-upper Nick Knowles (£300,000-349,999) earning double what Clare Balding does, or low-profile sports presenter Jason Mohammad taking home more than a quarter of a million, may make a few people question how their license fee is being spent.
