BBC Morning Live's Gethin Jones' five-word response as segment descends into chaos
BBC Morning Live was thrown into total chaos leaving Gethin Jones asking his co-stars “Are you stitching me up?"
During Monday’s episode of the hit morning show, Gethin and co-star Michelle Ackerley returned to our TV screens with a jam-packed programme and a number of guests.
The duo were joined by chef Anna Haugh for a cooking demonstration on how to make a lemon and lime cheese cake with a secret ingredient of pineapple.
Anna put the presenters to work and things took a turn as the TV chef playful hit out at Gethin for not putting enough effort while mixing his cream cheese filling.

Gethin admitted: “My arm is hurting, especially after the Strictly fitness.” Anna jumped in: “Well you’re going to have to keep going. I don’t think you understand how important your job is Gethin.”
Gethin got stuck in and attempted to mix the filling but it was clear that he was struggling but as he went to take a break Anna: “Gethin don’t stop. How many times have I told you not to stop?”
Despite all his efforts, Gethin was quick to notice that something wasn’t looking right as he asked: “What is it supposed to look like?”
Anna replied: “Whipped cream. How on earth did you not know what I meant when I said that it should look like whipped cream.”
Gethin couldn’t quite get the hang of the recipe as he asked: “Are you stitching me up because it’s not whipping?” Co-star Michelle shared her concerns as she turned to Gethin and asked: “Are you ok?” Gethin shouted: “No.”
To make things worse, Gethin was left speechless when Anna revealed that she had already made a filling.
Pointing at her ready made filling, Gethin asked: “Don’t tell me you’ve already made one.” Everyone burst out laughing as Anna confirmed: “Yes I have.”
Gethin put down his bowl and walked away as Anna joked: “I doubted that you were going to have the attention span to really focus so I just thought I should have one whipped ready.”
Later on, it was time to taste their desert and Gethin joked: “I don’t think I’m able to grip onto my spoon but I’ll find a way."
