BBC Radio 2 Owain Wyn Evans has taken to Instagram to show him clearing up after a room he recently renovated was affected by a "small flood" amid Wales being hit by heavy rain. Earlier this month, Owain had shared a stunning transformation of his "scruffy little conservatory" into a gorgeous "tangerinery".

Owain shared that the room had previously been prone to flooding as when it rained outside, "it also rained inside". He thought he had fixed that problem with some roof filler, but now the room is once again has got a little wet, this time thanks to blocked drains outside.

Posting videos of him trying to clear up to his Instagram story, Owain said: "Darlings, how are you? Tending to a small flood." He then shows him trying to clear up what looks like a pile of leaves with a special vacuum cleaner, before laughing, "This is a drain."

The next video shows that as well as plenty of leaves, the drain is also blocked by pebbles. Clearing them up, he jokes that he is revealing a "never before seen drain".

The popular Welsh presenter, who is originally from Ammanford, then posted a selfie of him smiling in the mirror, where he is looking rather soggy. He captioned the image: "Muddy and floody x" and "Rain water 100% Welsh".

His final story was a photo of an all weather sealant can, so hopefully Owain's tangerinery will be safe from flooding in the future. For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter
