BBC The Apprentice star Karren Brady shares how they 'know' from the start who will be fired
Karren Brady and Tim Campbell have shared an insight into the firing process on The Apprentice, revealing there are some subtle clues that a contestant is next to exit the BBC show.
Karren and Tim, who are Lord Alan Sugar's aides on The Apprentice, opened up about the tense moments on BBC's The One Show, during an episode which aired on Tuesday, 28 January. Karren admitted there are a number of things she looks out for when it comes to pinpointing which contestant is going to get fired by Lord Sugar.
"I think lying, not owning your mistakes," she revealed. "Not standing up for yourself. Not fighting your corner. Those things can often let you down."

Meanwhile, Tim shared his thoughts, admitting that having trouble with maths can pose an issue when it comes to saving your spot on The Apprentice.
"The big thing for us is that, if you ever forget your numbers and you can't add up in the boardroom. You think you've made a profit, but you've made a loss, you are dead," he told The One Show hosts Alex Jones and Clara Amfo.
Elsewhere, Karren revealed some differences which will occur in the new season of The Apprentice. The hit programme will return to BBC One on 30 January with a new set of hopefuls aiming to impress Lord Sugar.
She explained: "Well, there's so much! There's so much to say when there is so much difference. Obviously, every year, the tasks get more and more modern. This year, we've got a virtual pop star and an AI pop star. And I think the scary thing for Tim and I was when Lord Sugar set the task, we were there as virtual popstars."
However, it wasn't Karren's show secrets which had viewers talking following her appearance on The One Show. The business executive's glamorous look certainly caught viewers' attention, as some failed to recognise her.
Taking to social media platform X, one viewer said: "Haven't watched #TheApprentice for years, just seen #KarrenBrady on #TheOneShow I honestly didn't recognise her."
Another fan confessed: "I didn't recognize Karren Brady at all." A third admitted: "Had to double take Karen Brady." Meanwhile a fourth viewer said: "@karren_brady looking fantastic, eloquently spoken, & that outfit rocks. #TheOneShow."
The One Show airs Mondays-Fridays at 7pm on BBC One.
