Baileys Red Velvet Cupcake is back for Valentine's Day
Now that all those festive tipples have been finished up, there's a long way till the fruity summer releases. But fear not, Baileys is bringing back the limited edition Baileys Red Velvet Cupcake flavour to freshen up our liqueur cabinets in the mean time.
Launched last year for Valentine's day the cupcake inspired variant was a huge success so we're not surprised to hear it's returning to shelves.
Capturing the flavour of everyone's favourite cupcake, Red Velvet, this limited edition Baileys blends the original Irish Cream with the taste of fresh chocolate cake, cream cheese and a hint of cocoa powder. Delicious.
If you want to spoil a loved one this Valentine's day, or Galentine's day, this is the perfect treat for anyone with a sweet tooth. You can get your hands on it from 25 January, priced at £16 in Sainsbury's and Tesco.
The creamy red drink can be enjoyed over ice, or whipped up into the brand's special Valentine's day cockatil recipe.
Baileys Red Velvet Cupcake Martini Cocktail
Serves 2
Ingredients:
100ml Baileys Red Velvet Cupcake (1.8 units)
50ml vodka (2 units)
White chocolate, melted
Method:
Dip the rim of each of your martini glasses in a small amount of melted white chocolate and leave to cool.
Add Baileys Red Velvet Cupcake and vodka to an ice-filled shaker.
Shake and pour half into each of your martini glasses. Serve and enjoy!
