Bailee Madison's Barbie pink hair transformation is a must-see
It looks like Bailee Madison is making the most of the hair freedoms the actor's strike is allowing, as she just dyed her bob Barbie pink. I guess it's a silver lining. Or a pink one. Bailee's been in the biz since she was 3 years old (yes she was in Bridge to Terebithia) and that can often dictate your hair for characters and consistency. So, we don't think it's a coincidence that this cute and creative pink has popped up during the strike Bailee has been vocally out on the picket lines for.
Embracing 2023's devotion to Barbie, the candy pink hue is surprisingly flattering on the natural brunette and she looks bloody gorgeous. It's giving Frenchie from Grease, in the best way. It debuted on Instagram with a simple: "We went pink 💕💕💗💗"
She honestly looks so beautiful, she looks like AI. And if you think that's down to lighting and editing, please look at this pap shot she had no control over. She's perfection.
The dreamy colour was created by celeb colourist and stylist, Scott King (who also does the likes of Sabrina Carpenter and Isabella Merced's tresses). His wisdom would explain how they landed on such a perfect pink for her, it's all about tone.
He also returned her to her natural brunette back at Christmas time, with her telling fans and followers: "Holiday season means taking it back to my roots (literally @scottkinghair ✨)"
