The best red carpet looks at the 2024 BAFTAs, from Ayo Edebiri to Margot Robbie
The 77th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs) took place on Sunday 18 February, and brought together some of the biggest and most talented stars in film and TV.
The biggest winners of the night were the cast and teams behind Oppenheimer, Poor Things and Zone of Interest, with Oppenheimer’s Cillian Murphy scooping the award for Best Actor and Poor Things’ Emma Stone winning Best Actress.
The red carpet, however, gave all the stars an opportunity to shine through their fashion choices. The celebrities strutted their stuff in a huge range of colours and styles, with some really standout looks dominating the evening.
Monochrome was a popular choice, whether it was a full black gown like Carey Mulligan, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Maestro, or a full-peach gown like Stone.
Black and pink also proved a winning combination, worn by the likes of Margot Robbie, who was nominated for Best Actress (Barbie), Da’Vine Joy Randolph (nominated for Best Supporting Actress, The Holdovers) and even Sophie Ellis-Bextor, who performed her 2001 hit Murder On The Dancefloor at the ceremony.
Other details that were seen throughout the night included marabou feathers (worn by Taylor Russell and Ayo Edebiri), shades of red (worn by Dua Lipa, Emerald Fennell and Daisy Edgar-Jones), and long jackets (worn by Murphy and Bradley Cooper).
