Back To The Future's George McFly star unrecognisable almost 40 years since hit films
Back To The Future's star, Crispin Glover, is barely recognisable 39 years after his rise to fame in the iconic film. Best known for his role as George McFly in the cult classic, Crispin has left fans stunned with his dramatically altered appearance in recent years. The now 60-year-old actor won over Back To The Future fans globally with his portrayal of Marty McFly's eccentric father. His character was crucial to the film's plot, with Crispin bringing an unforgettable awkward charm to the role. Back To The Future followed teenager Marty, played by Michael J Fox, as he is sent back in time to 1955 by his scientist friend Doc Brown, portrayed by Christopher Lloyd.
Michael won three Emmy Awards for his part in the 1980s NBC sitcom Family Ties, playing Alex P. Keaton. In Back To The Future, Marty must ensure that his teenage parents fall in love and return to his own time to save Doc Brown's life. The film was an immediate box-office success and became the highest-grossing film of 1985. Despite the film's massive success, Crispin's career took a surprising turn when he famously did not return for the sequels due to a dispute with the producers over salary and creative differences. Since then, the American actor has made a name for himself in Hollywood, featuring in indie films such as Rivers Edge and Willard.
In 2022, the movie star landed a role on Netflix's hit series Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities.

The actor is now set to star in the film Mr K, which will be released early next year. The film follows a travelling magician who becomes trapped in a hotel and can't find a way out.
Crispin loves giving his followers a peek into his latest acting gigs on Instagram. A recent snap showing Crispin looking dashing had fans rushing to praise how he's defied age.
"He was kinda hot in the first Back to The Future, so was Michael J Fox, bless both of their hearts," said one admirer. Another wrote: "Lookin' good! You have gotten even better looking with age."
A third fan was baffled by his timeless looks, commenting, "I do not understand how you're not aging! You look wonderful!!" Meanwhile, a fourth fan said: "You sir were my love 30 years ago and you look better now."
Crispin, who played the nerdy George Mcfly back in the '80s, now rocks a rugged appearance flaunting long grey-tinged hair a stark contrast from his former squeaky-clean image.
