Baby joy! Neighbours star gives birth to baby girl with 'stepbrother'
Neighbours star Scarlet Vas has given birth to her first child wth husband, and 'stepsibling', Tayo Ricci. Scarlet, 29, took to Instagram on Christmas Day to announce the pair had welcomed a baby daughter. In a joint Instagram post, the couple shared a photo of themselves with their newborn at the hospital and wrote: "Our Christmas miracle has finally arrived Merry Christmas from our family to yours". The pair haven't yet revealed their daughter's name.
Scarlet and Tayo first met when they were teenagers in Melbourne, but they eventually became 'family' when their parents started dating. Despite the relationship, Scarlet and Tayo fell in love and tied the knot on a Greek island last year. In September, they shared their exciting pregnancy news with a sweet Instagram video showing the moment they received a positive test.
Scarlet first rose to fame on the Australian soap opera, Neighbours where she played police officer Mishti Sharma from 2017 to 2018. Since leaving the acting world behind, Scarlet is now a successful OnlyFans model.

On the Uncensored Podcast, Scarlet revealed she makes her money by sharing snaps with Tayo on the adult online subscription service. She said: “I'm in the 0.01%, like the lowest you can go on OF. But every month's been getting better. 'Like last month was my best month. I hit almost $200k and then this month I'm going to do well over $200k. I mean the fans love us as like a thing or not a thing. He's my stepbrother and Australian and we've known each other for a very long time.”
Not only did Scarlet leave her acting career behind, she also moved away from Australia for a new life in the US, which is where she and Tayo now live.
Fans and friends of the couple rushed to the comments to congratulate the pair on welcoming their new baby. Neighbours star Takaya Honda (who played David Tanaka) wrote: "Congrats guys". Another added: "The most beautiful little baby smush love you both so much". A third said: "Wow! Congratulations welcome to your new world baby" followed by two love heart emojis.
Despite the controversy surrounding their relationship due to claims they are "stepsiblings", Scarlet has insisted that they prefer to keep the specifics of their family connection private out of respect for their relatives. She has also emphasised that she and Tayo, who have known each other for years, are "definitely not blood-related."
