Axed Love Island stars reunite for a night out after brutal dumpings
Love Island's Samantha Kenny and Patsy Field have shown they're not letting getting dumped from the villa get them down. The girls, who started in the original cast of the 2024 ITV2 show earlier this month, were spotted out partying in London together with friends. The group enjoyed watching Girls Aloud from a box on Saturday night.
Patsy, 29, posted a video of Samantha, 26, dancing and singing along to their hit song Love Machine. Later on she shared an update from a taxi, showing the party carrying on as passengers including Liverpudlian Sam, singing and dancing in the car.
Samantha also updated her fans , posting a picture on her story and commenting: "Fun night at Girls Aloud, thank you @InTheStyle." She also shared a photograph to her grid, captioning it: "Disco dancing with the lights down low."
Samantha's time in the Love Island villa was cut short after her partner Joey Essex recoupled with new bombshell Grace Jackson, leaving her single. She was immediately dumped from the island as a result.
She spent two weeks getting to know the TOWIE star in the villa, before his ex Grace entered and he turned his attention to her. Speaking exclusively to OK! she said: "He could see how visibly upset I was and he just disregarded my feelings."
She added: "I still think he’s a caring and kind person, I just think he was insensitive to my feelings. I’ve now seen the things that he said behind my back, like when he said the handbrake wasn’t completely on [after the date]. Seeing that hurt me."
While Patsy left after a savage double dumping, with Munveer Jabbal. After getting the least votes by the public, they were among three sets of couples up for eviction from the island.
The safe islanders then needed to pick which of the bottom couples were to be dumped from the villa. Speaking exclusively to OK!'s Love Island Dumping Debrief Patsy said: "Samantha and Joey were compatible and he never verbalised that they were in a friendship couple at all.”
She adds that despite telling Samantha that he wanted to be with her, Joey wouldn’t put in the work. “There were some nights when he wouldn’t go near her for hours. We said to her in there, ‘Babe, that’s weird.’
“So she knew something wasn’t right and she wasn’t getting full level commitment from him. But no one expected his ex to walk in and she was kicked to the curb.”
