Audi Unveil Transformer-Like E-Concept That Changes Size At The Push Of A Button

Luxury car maker Audi have unveiled their latest concept vehicle that has transformer-like technologies including being able to extend at the push of a button. Skysphere is the first of three 'Sphere' EV concepts that the German manufacturer will prevent over the coming months to give passengers freedom, the Audi Skysphere concept was designed for two different driving experiences, a grand touring experience and a sports experience with the touch of a button, the driver can take advantage of their freedomand choose their own driving experience. Electric motors and a sophisticated mechanism with body and frame components that slide into one another make it possible to vary the wheelbase and change the exterior lenght of the car by 250 millimeters.Sports mode uses a reduced wheelbase with the rear-wheel steering ensuring the vehicle remains extremely agile despite its dimensions, in GT mode, the steering wheel and pedals move into an invisible area, extending the vehicle to 5.19-meters and giving the driver maximum legroom. The super-sleek vehicle also has the ability to keep an eye on the road and traffic with its sensor system and drivers the occupants safely to their destination. Audi will host the public world premiere of the Skysphere concept on Friday, August 13, as part of a Monterey car week.
