The astonishing story of the man with three legs

A man born in in Sicily in 1889 into a family of 12 children had an astonishing claim to fame.

You see, Frank Lentini had three legs. But that's not all, he also had four feet and two sets of genitals.

Frank was born with a parasitic twin, a condition where twin embryos form in the womb but don't fully separate. This can result with one person having extra body parts.

Despite his condition, Frank went on to marry and have four healthy children.

He gained fame after joining the circus where he went under the name of 'The Great Lentini'.
