Ashley Park has collaborated with Skechers to design her own *super* stylish trainers
Finding your perfect pair of trainers is not as simple as it might sound. From shoes intended for specific sports such as netball or waterproof styles for outdoor running, to those with health benefits firmly at the forefront designed to relieve the pain of bunions and Plantar Fasciitis, to say the athletic footwear market is oversaturated would be an understatement.
Especially if fashion is a priority for you, and here on the Women's Health Fashion Desk, we firmly believe it should be. And that's not even taking into account *where* to get your shoes from. Should you go for gym wear-centric brands like lululemon or dedicated trainer-first labels? Decisions, decisions.
Luckily, Skechers may have just solved your trainer dilemmas with its latest collaboration. Having previously partnered with Ashley Park as the face of its Skechers Uno campaign, the Emily in Paris actress is back – and this time she's launching her own signature footwear collection.
The six-piece collection consists of a unique pointed-toe silhouette that Ashley thinks is "super chic" and elevates a traditional trainer to make it wearable for any scenario and occasion. "I’ve realized that I haven’t seen many pointy sneakers in the mainstream, accessible to everyone, so I brought the idea to Skechers and was so thrilled they were willing to take a risk."
"These shoes are both vibrant with a neutral base, so that they are versatile enough to be worn in various fashion situations and vibes," Ashley said of her designs that effortlessly pair fashion with functionality through the eye-catching colourways and Skechers Air-Cooled Memory Foam cushioned insole.
Merging street style elements like the stacked sole with high-fashion details such as the pointed toe and vibrant hues, we think Ashley's Emily in Paris character Mindy Chen would *definitely* approve.
