To this day, we are still mourning the death of 2012's Cadbury's Chocolate Philadelphia spread, and still in disbelief that it was discontinued so soon.

If, like us, you were feel the same, and are a die-hard fan of the combination of milk chocolate and cream cheese (chocolate cheesecake, anyone?), you'll be beside yourself to hear that Asda has launched Milka Philadelphia, just in time for Easter.

The new spread combines the flavours of creamy Swiss Milka chocolate and rich Philadelphia, bridging the gap for those who can't decide whether to have a sweet or savoury snack.

Asda say the creamy, indulgent spread is the perfect partner to pretty much anything, from waffles and pancakes to bagels and toast. In true 2012-style, we're also planning on spreading it on digestive biscuits for a deconstructed, one-minute cheesecake.

Speaking about the mouth-watering new product, an Asda spokesperson said: "At Asda, we love introducing hybrid products for our customers. We’re excited to stock the indulgent spread, perfect for a chocolatey treat in the run up to Easter."

Available now in Asda stores and online, the spread will cost £1 unit the 24th April, and will then creep up to £1.80 a tub.
