If you’re looking for a workwear refresh, Aritzia’s latest collection is here to make us all feel like corporate baddies. Filled with a host of blazers, shirts, trousers, and trench coats—all crafted with high-quality fabrics and exacting tailoring—it’s the easiest way to infuse a bit of modern coolness into all of your 9-to-5 looks.

To bring the collection to life, Aritzia teamed up with model-of-the-moment Alex Consani. In the campaign photos, she channels multiple office personalities, from the office secretary to the big boss with the corner office. “It was such a fun day on set,” Consani exclusively tells ELLE. “The big boss persona definitely felt the most natural, but I truly enjoyed getting the chance to play each character.”

Of course, getting into different personas was easy for Consani. After all, she won the British Fashion Council’s Model of the Year award last year. “It was a defining moment for me and put so much into perspective,” Consani says. “I’m grateful to those who came before me and paved the way to allow me to win such an honor, and at the same time recognize there’s a lot more that needs to be done, especially for those who have been made to feel like they don’t belong.”

Although modeling doesn’t usually require Consani to put on a suit and tie, she still appreciates the empowering feeling of a tailored look—especially when handling business. “I want to feel confident but also still feel like me,” she explains. “I gravitate toward structured pieces that aren’t too stiff but also throw in something that adds personality—whether that be a bold color, a statement accessory, or a cool pair of shoes.”

Consani is also a fan of suits with exaggerated portions. “Oversized tailoring is everything right now,” she explains. “Big shoulders, wide-leg pants, and boxy silhouettes just hit different. And that’s what I love about Aritzia pieces—they don’t miss in terms of style and quality, and you can really make them your own.”

The “Work Wardrobe” collection is filled with all of those confidence-boosting pieces, but if you’re looking for just one strong piece to add to your collection, Consani recommends a specific pair of hero trousers: “Without a doubt, The Effortless Pant. It goes with everything; you can dress it up, dress it down. It instantly makes any outfit chic and effortless.”
