Ariana Grande's iridescent, plunging dress is all kinds of magic
We have made no secret that, at this point, the forthcoming Wicked movie is, like, our entire personality.
Whether brushing up on the OG Broadway soundtrack (and driving our flatmates up the wall in the process) or forcing our BFFs to twin with us in matching Glinda and Elphaba, we are ready for the 22nd November when the first Wicked movie finally touches down in cinemas.
Naturally, the extensive press tour undertaken by the Wicked cast has only further stoked our excitement — in no small part thanks to Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo's tireless dedication to method dressing and turning up to events embodying their characters Glinda and Elphaba.
Fancy a tour of their biggest style hits so far? We thought you'd never ask! We've had Ari in pink 3D florals and Cynthia in emerald green thigh-high boots paired with a silver shimmer skirt, Cynthia rocking a green patterned coat and jeans with Ariana wearing a demure pink skirt suit and the duo rocking gorgeous contrasting fits for the Wicked LA premiere.
Specifically, Ari rocked a pink and white custom gingham look by Thom Browne while Cynthia Erivo *stunnnnned* in a green vinyl gown and feather stole by Louis Vuitton. Talk about coming together to maximise your joint slay!
Now, the duo is back at it! In a Mexico City Wicked event, the duo rocked contrasting outfits, with Cynthia stunning in a camp af custom Thom Browne black fitted gown with 3D, sculptural power shoulders.
Ari also stunned but gave us a sexy variation on her character, rocking a white, iridescent gown by Versace that was all kinds of Glinda but which also featured a plunging cutout neckline...which was giving Glinda gone wild.
We love to see it!
