There was once a time when we reported on Ariana most days - when just glancing at her Instagram grid gave us fresh inspiration for our next beauty look.

There was the birthday selfie she took last year, revealing her natural short hair after removing all her extensions. Then there was the curtain fringe that gave us major school assembly vibes, and not forgetting THAT super-blonde beehive, or THOSE ombré-blonde pigtails.

But it's safe to say the signer has gone a little quiet on us lately, mostly sharing news about her music on social media, alongside a very rare selfie or cute couples picture with fiancé Dalton Gomez.

So imagine our excitement last month when she gave herself a makeover based on one of our favourite drag artists, Gottmik (who is currently in the running to take the crown on the latest season of RuPaul's Drag Race in America). Ariana captioned the clip: '@Gottmik I really want to be u but it's just not... in the cards' and told her 232 million followers, 'Help me! Guess who doesn't know how to do drag make-up? Love you.'

She then added another story zooming in on her face and said, 'Love you so much!' while again tagging Gottmik and writing 'I MEANT WELL @GOTTMIK'. It was great to see her grinning into the camera again after so long - despite being unrecognisable in the heavily made-up and filtered clip.

Well, she was back on her stories again this weekend, this time with a lot less makeup but equal amounts of sass. The shots captured her posing during a forma pilates session, dressed in workout gear, with scraped-back hair and zero make-up, and of course she looked beautiful...
