So, wait a minute: Kanye West isn't just a narcissistic, graceless volcano of ego, surrounded by clawing sycophants and dodgy trousers?

Kanye West can be kind?

Kanye West can be decent?

Kanye West can be generous?

Kanye West isn't just a one dimensional piñata full of sour arrogance.

Kanye West can be a nice boss?

We hate to shatter the strictly-diva illusion, but it's true. At least according to rapper CyHi The Prynce, who revealed what it's like to be part of the crew working on a Kanye album.

In an interview with The Breakfast Club, a morning hip-hop radio show, the rapper and long-time Kanye collaborator said of working with West: "I definitely got paid. Oh no, he overly pays. That's an issue."

CyHi then describes a time where a man wearing black leather jeans walked into the studio while Kanye was working on Yeezus, inspiring the lyrics to the song, "Black Skinhead." That man ended up getting paid for his contribution and credited for his work on the album.

All thanks to some questionable jeans.

"If you're delivering waters, if you're the engineer, if you're the cameraman, if he ask you one thing about this song, you're name is on this record," CyHi added. "All you got to do is be in the brainstorming. If you were in the brainstorm room, you get part of the record."
