Anyone who’s ever had suspicions that they’re being pied off will relate to the moment Love Island’s Alex was caught munching on a biscuit as he spotted Megan and Wes returning from a secret chat.

Despite the pair doing their absolute best to avoid being spotted by the other Islanders, the eagle-eyed 28-year-old clearly put two and two together and worked out that Wes was trying to win his girl back.

Cue some intense stares being shot across the garden as he took out all his pent-up frustration on the biscuit in his mouth. Fans were loving the silent act of aggression, writing: “Alex is chewing that biscuit vigorously. He’s rattled.”

Someone else said: “Man bit that biscuit with some vim boy, he was fumingggg,” as a third person joked: “Watching Essex Jeremy Piven aggressively eat that biscuit while watching Megan and Wes sneak out into the kitchen is the BAFTA-winning drama I switch on for.”

ICYMI, Wes revealed that he isn’t going to “drop” his feelings for Megan, telling her: “I put everything that I’d ever invested into you. I am still holding on to the feeling something could come from it. I am not going to drop that.”

And hinting that there’s every change she could do a 180 further down the line, Megan responded: “I’d be lying if I didn’t say when I see you chatting to Ellie I’m jealous. A little bit. I do still fancy you but I’m not being harsh on Alex.”

Honestly, we can't keep up.
