SURE, WHEN ANTONY Starr gets into character as Homelander, the Superman-adjacent sociopathic villain of Prime Video's The Boys, he's getting a little bit of help. He wears a muscle-padded supersuit that doesn't show a whole lot of skin, letting the expertly-crafted garment made by veteran costume designer Laura Jean Shannon do most of the work. But that doesn't mean he's slacking when it comes from the superhero prep lifestyle.

Starr reveals that he's got to watch his diet and body closely to maintain his shape for the 7 or 8 months he spends each year filming The Boys – and even at one point was asked to wear a corset to fit into his outfit (which served as some good motivation to lose a couple pounds, he reveals).

While Starr spends much of the 'Eat Like' video describing his foods of choice (including his favourite breakfast, proteins, his love for pasta and burgers, and a dairy-filled Homelander cheat meal), he also went out of his way to reveal his personal tip for a really good post-workout protein shake: a tablespoon of peanut butter.

'Just to give it a little bit more texture,' he says. 'A little thickness, a little sweetening without being over the top, and also you know you're getting good healthy fats.'

Starr also revealed some more of his favourite things. Protein? A nice steak, specifically from New Zealand. Last meal on earth? Bolognese. Or burgers (sometimes he orders three at a time, he says). Or both.
