Ant & Dec's Limitless Win renewed by ITV for two more series
ITV has ordered more of Ant & Dec's Limitless Win.
The hit quiz format, hosted and produced by Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly, will be returning for two more series at least – the first of which will premiere on ITV1 and ITVX in 2024.
The unique format teams up contestants in a series of timed rounds where their winnings can go sky high depending on how successful they are in climbing a never-ending 'Limitless Ladder' with ascending cash values.
"We're so happy that Limitless Win has been such a hit with the viewers, we love making it. It’s such a thrilling and emotional roller coaster of a show we can’t wait to make more," Ant McPartlin said of the renewal.
Dec Donnelly added: "We’re bracing ourselves for another two series of high tension and nail-biting drama as more contestants take on the Limitless Ladder. We’re excited to see how high they can climb now they’re so much more familiar with the show. Bring it on!”
The renewal comes on the heels of a retooling of the show for its second series, including a new lifeline where Ant & Dec were able to help the contestants answer one question.
Dec admitted that the presenters initially refused to take part in the lifeline because they felt too much pressure, but "eventually warmed to it".
"Yet, as soon as it came to the first record and that lifeline popped up, honestly my heart sank. I thought, 'Oh God. Oh no. What have we done here? The pressure, the pressure'," Dec added.
Limitless Win was one of the projects Ant & Dec said they'd be working on when they recently announced they would be shelving variety show Saturday Night Takeaway after its 20th anniversary series in 2024.
The boys remain very busy in spite of quitting Takeaway for now, as they also present both I'm a Celebrity and its South African spinoff as well as Britain's Got Talent. They produce ITV1's hit docuseries DNA Journey, and are behind a reboot of Byker Grove.
Ant & Dec's Limitless Win will return in 2024 on ITV1 and ITVX.
