Anna Kendrick on 'traumatic' experience of filming Twilight: 'It bonded us for life'
Anna Kendrick just got real about filming for the Twilight saga, comparing shoot days to a 'hostage situation', adding that the cast and crew are forever bound together by how grim the weather was.
The actress, who played Jessica Stanley in the franchise, recently chatted to Vanity Fair about her career to date, revealing that Twilight was actually only her third proper production.
34-year-old Anna said it was "truly such a shock" to get the role, before explaining that the first movie was "filmed in Portland, Oregon, and I just remember being so cold and miserable.
"And I just remember my Converse being completely soaked through and feeling like, 'You know, this is a really great group of people and I'm sure that we would be friends at a different time, but I want to murder everyone.'"
She continued that it was a "bonding" experience, adding that "there was something about it that was like you go through some trauma event, like people who survived a hostage situation and you're bonded for life."
Ok....
This comes as Robert Pattinson, who played Edward Cullen, revealed recently he was almost sacked from Twilight. He revealed he wanted to make Edward even more intense and brooding back in 2008, telling the New York Times: "I was so determined to make it so serious. I was fighting with everybody in control all the time... to the point where I almost got fired."
Blimey. Glad that didn't happen!
