Amy Childs' new weight-loss pic sparks furious backlash as fans call them 'dangerous'
Amy Childs has been subject to a wave of backlash from fans this week after she took to Instagram to show off her weight loss results. Sharing two photos as a before-and-after set, Amy, 34, looked noticeably slimmer in the second, and she gushed in the caption over her results - admitting she previously struggled to shed the pounds after welcoming her twins, daughter Milly and son Billy, in April 2023.
However, many fans seemed less than impressed with the photos and expressed worry for the former TOWIE star in the caption, with some even calling the post "dangerous" as they accused her of setting a bad example for younger social media users. "This is dangerous for young girls on social media," wrote one follower, as another echoed: "You look a beautiful healthy weight in the first picture. I worry for young girls when these kind of pictures are posted publicly".
"Dangerous post. I don’t want my daughters seeing this," said a third, while others assured Amy she looked beautiful in the 'before' picture. However, some did show support for the mother-of-four, as her TOWIE co-star Amber Turner commented: "Well done you look unreal". "I think she looks brilliant," said another fan who rushed to Amy's defence.

It's not the first time Amy, who is also mum to seven-year-old daughter Polly and son Ritchie, five, has faced trolling for her weight, as she also gave fans an update on her weight loss just last month. At the time, Amy explained how she had dropped two stone, telling her fans: "I have been really focusing on eating healthy, being in a calorie deficit and training 4/5 times a week!"
"I still enjoy my Prosecco on a weekend but just really watching what I'm eating. I was the biggest I have ever been after having the twins! I didn't want to diet as I was in a complete baby bubble and the last thing I wanted to do was to be on a diet and train! Fast forward... Twins are now 19-months old and it's the best I have ever felt! I still need to do more toning up."
Admitting she also received backlash when sharing her progress then, Amy said: "I have also had some really horrible messages about my weight loss, it's sad the world we live in sometimes, so much negativity. If you haven't got anything nice to say don't say it at all."
