America Ferrera Suits Up in Moschino, Rosamund Pike Blooms in Erdem and More Stars Attend the Governors Awards 2024
Stars including Margot Robbie, Emma Stone and Julianne Moore flocked to the Governors Awards 2024 on Tuesday night in Los Angeles. The annual event, hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, presents honors from the organization’s Board of Governors.
Ahead of the Oscars, celebrities are solidifying awards season trends, with many favoring blush tones, cutouts and sparkling embellishments — the latter of which also had a major moment in 2023.

Margot Robbie
Robbie sported a black cutout gown with crystallized straps by Celine. The “Barbie” star’s stylist, Andrew Mukamal, also decked her out in diamond jewelry by Fred Leighton. Robbie completed her ensemble with Manolo Blahnik pumps.
Rosamund Pike
Rosamund Pike blossomed in a strapless gown covered in floral appliques. Pike’s look, which she accessorized with Fred Leighton jewels, came from Erdem’s pre-fall 2024 collection. The “Saltburn” star was styled by Leith Clark.
Carey Mulligan
Carey Mulligan opted for a black and white Celine column gown featuring a statement neckline. The actress, who was also styled by Mukamal, added on jewels by Kwiat and Fred Leighton.
Emily Blunt
Emily Blunt’s plunging Miu Miu gown featured embellishments along the bodice. The “Oppenheimer” actress, who was styled by Jessica Paster, accessorized with platinum and diamond Tiffany & Co. jewels.
Emma Stone
Stone sparkled in pink bedazzled separates from Fendi’s fall 2023 couture collection, which she paired with nude cap toe pumps by Louis Vuitton. The actress was styled by Petra Flannery, who’s also known for dressing stars like Reese Witherspoon and Emilia Clarke.
Olivia Rodrigo
Olivia Rodrigo’s vintage Yves Saint Laurent gown, which came from the label’s 1997 couture collection, featured a velvet wrap bodice and a sweetheart neckline. Styling duo Chloe and Chenelle Delgadillo dressed Rodrigo for the occasion.
Julianne Moore
Moore shined in a caped Valentino gown covered in teardrop-shaped paillettes. Stylist Kate Young pulled her ensemble from the Italian label’s spring 2024 collection.
America Ferrera
America Ferrera suited up in a custom Moschino tux. Stylist Karla Welch, whose clients also include Greta Gerwig and Sarah Paulson, curated Ferrera’s look.
Natalie Portman
Natalie Portman’s cutout Schiaparelli gown included a gold chain strap. The actress was assisted by stylist Ryan Hastings.
Florence Pugh
Florence Pugh’s blush Rodarte gown, covered in silver sequins, featured a halter neckline and peplum at the waistline. Her stylist, Rebecca Corbin-Murray, selected it from the American label’s spring 2024 collection.
