Philip’s brush includes a two minute SmarTimer with QuadPacer, which ensures that you’re spending 30 seconds on each quadrant of your mouth (upper right, upper left, lower right, lower left — don’t forget your tongue!)

Despite the praise, some have cautioned that it’s important to read the instructions before use, especially if you have sensitive gums to avoid any discomfort.

“Angle the toothbrush a bit, and [use] back and forth motion, not circles,” they suggested.

Another thing to note is battery life. Philips says a charge is good for up to two weeks of use, but some shoppers have said they wish the charge held longer.
