"Like when I'm feeding, I'm listening to a book on tape," she explains, referencing the many animals she feeds on her farm. "So it feels like it's selfish time, but really I'm feeding, so it's still busy, it's work."

"But in the morning, when they wake up, I'll sit and crochet while they eat their breakfast, watch Bluey, whatever they end up doing before school," the actress says of her kids. "But when they're at school, yes, I have time."

"I sit and I crochet, or I go to the gym in the barn, or I go out to coffee with a fellow parent or a friend upstate," she adds. "I get a lot of alone time on a train when I go to the city. If I have to go to the city, I take the train. And I get like an hour and 40 minutes of alone time each way. And I'm always crocheting. Knitting, crocheting, that's my lifestyle."

Earlier this month, Seyfried showed off her two kids' very unique slippers as she shared a photo on her Instagram Stories of her two kids as they stood in their hyper-realistic slippers. Seyfried's daughter opted for a pair of dog slippers, which looked uncannily like their dog Finn.

Her son Thomas, on the other hand, debuted a pair of NSFW slippers that looked like two boobs. Seyfried's two kids stood side by side in the picture, with the image cut off at their chests.

In an October interview with PEOPLE, Seyfried opened up about her love of all things scary and how she celebrates spooky season with her family.

"Halloween's huge in our house. We go all out," Seyfried said, referring to her family of four.

"Every year, we have this party, and these local guys who do Christmas lights put in Halloween colors throughout the woods," she continued. "We have candy, some inflatables, and this year we're doing fog machines."

"Then we do our trick-or-treating in the nearest town on actual Halloween," added the Jennifer's Body alum.
