These days, people are counting down to 25 December with calendars stuffed with sex toys, DIY tools, mini pots of Pringles and cheese. Yes, really.
From Yankee Candle to Aldi and Carluccio’s, it seems like every brand’s getting in on the alternative advent calendar trend. And despite their price tags (some of these will set you back well over £100), they’re clearly popular. The choice of fillers on offer is only getting larger.
And, of course, they will sit nicely beside your £2 Cadbury’s chocolate calendar.
