Alison Hammond's mystery man 'revealed' as pals say she's 'never been happier'

Alison Hammond has reportedly found love again - this time with a "trusted companion". The This Morning star is said to be the "happiest she's ever been" as she enjoys the honeymoon phase with her mystery man.

Alison, 49, tends to keep her love life under wraps, but it seems she's ready to show off her new man - whose name is yet be disclosed - as he's appeared in a string of cosy photos with her. The snaps, understood to have been shared to Alison's Instagram account, show the TV star enjoying outings with an unidentified man.

In one snap, taken by Alison, the pair can be seen having dinner together in a swanky restaurant. Alison's companion sits next to her as they both smile for the camera.

Another post shows a selfie taken by Alison while enjoying a walk with her mystery man. The TV star appears to be keeping a low profile in a navy blue baseball cap, while her companion sports a flat cap and a chunky burgundy scarf.

The photos have been published by The Sun and a source spoke to the outlet about Alison's alleged new romance. The source claims she and her new man "looked like honeymooners".

The source said: “Alison has never been happier. She has had a turbulent love-life, but is finally confident she has found a trusted companion. They looked just like honeymooners.”

Alison tends to keep her romantic life out of the spotlight, but she has opened up about being single in the past, as well as her relationship with ex-boyfriend Noureddine Boufaied. Alison and Noureddine share son Aiden, 19, who was born in 2005.

She previously confessed she felt like a “failure” after splitting from Noureddine. Speaking on This Morning during an interview with Paloma Faith about her marriage split, Alison admitted: “You’re not a failure, listen, I felt that failure when I split up with my son’s dad. His dad now moved on, he’s married, he’s got three other children, they’re part of our family as well. You don’t know how it’s going to work out, it’s part of your story.”

However, last year she said she has "no problem" being on her own and has "never felt lonely". Speaking on an episode of Gyles Brandreth's podcast Rosebud, Alison opened up about her love life.

"I absolutely love my own company. I have no problem being on my own, in fact, I really quite like it. I think that's the reason why I struggle in some relationships because I don't want somebody around me all the time. I actually love being on my own. I'm okay with it. I've never felt lonely," she said.
