Aliita to Unveil Exclusive Collection With Glassware Brand Ichendorf Milano

Jewelry brand Aliita, founded in 2015 by Cynthia Vilchez Castiglioni, is debuting on Monday its first collaboration with glassware brand Ichendorf Milano.

Named “Mi Casa Tu Casa,” the collection comprises a set of six transparent glass tumblers and a matching pitcher crafted from handblown borosilicate glass. In keeping with Ichendorf Milano’s glassware style, each piece in the collection features Aliita’s signature charms — which include the house Casita, the ghost Fantasma, and the dinosaur Dino — sitting at the bottom of the amber-colored glassware’s base.

“The ‘Mi Casa Tu Casa’ collection stands out for its fusion between design and functionality. Glassware made in collaboration with the Ichendorf brand represents a fun and conceptual approach to the experience of drinking and sharing beautiful moments with our loved ones,” Vilchez Castiglioni said. “Elements such as ghosts, dinosaurs, robots and radios represent the perfect match between craftsmanship and minimalism,” the Aliita designer added.

The lineup will be exclusively available on the jewelry brand’s e-commerce, as well as at select retailers including Capitol, Goop and Twist in the U.S and Banner and Voga in Italy. The set of glasses retails for 140 euros while the pitcher is priced at 50 euros.

Known for its playful take on glassware, with standout items including the cactus pitcher and the animal farm glass set, Ichendorf Milano was founded in the early 20th century in Quadrath-Ichendorf, a hamlet in the outskirts of Cologne, Germany. In 1990, the brand relocated to Milan and has over the years teamed up with several artists and designers for collaborations including Corrado Dotti, Alba Gallizia and design duo Mist-O.
