Alexa Chung And Sienna Miller Are Building A Thoroughly Modern Family
Congratulations are in order for the decidedly un-sartorially challenged Alexa Chung and her actor beau, Tom Sturridge, who are said to be engaged after two years of dating.
After images emerged of the pair sporting gold, vintage-inspired rings on their ring fingers – Chung's most recently attended Dior's AW25 show wearing hers – sources confirmed to The Sun in early May 2024 that the pair are set to wed later this summer.

'Alexa has confirmed to her friends that she is engaged to Tom and she is over the moon,' a source told The Sun. 'She is in a great place and seems completely head over heels for him. They're a great match.'
The couple made their red carpet debut together at the 2023 Met Gala, where they paid homage to the late Karl Lagerfeld with the theme, Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty. Sturridge opted to wear a Dior suit for the occasion, while Chung sported a whimsical Róisín Pierce top and skirt with a matching bonnet.
While neither Chung nor Sturridge have explicitly stated when they started dating, their romance was seemingly confirmed in July 2022 when they appeared loved up at Wimbledon together, much to the amusement of the internet as they sat one row behind Sturridge's former partner Sienna Miller and her new beau, Oli Green.
In fact, if there's anything that two of the UK's most stylish stars are proving, it's that together they're building quite the thoroughly modern family. Sturridge dated Miller from 2011 to 2015 with the pair welcoming their daughter Marlowe in 2012.
Attending the premiere of her upcoming film Horizon: An American Saga at this year's Cannes Film Festival, Miller not only made her red carpet debut with Marlowe but was also supported by Chung herself, who attended the premiere in support of her partner's ex.
Speaking on a podcast in December 2023, Miller admitted that she and Green have family dinners with Chung, Sturridge and Marlowe, calling it 'genuinely very loving and cosy and great.'
'It's ideal. It's incredible. We are very lucky,' the American Sniper actor added.
Proving that they may well be Britain's equivalent to Dakota Johnson and Gwyneth Paltrow, Miller voiced her approval a year earlier too, telling British Vogue in 2022, 'I’m really happy for them. It’s genuinely lovely.'
Chung, who has previously dated musician Alex Turner and actor Alexander Skarsgård, has confessed to being somewhat of a hopeless romantic. Speaking to the Evening Standard in 2016, the former T4 presenter said: 'I do love love, though. I don’t think love should make you feel uneasy. When you feel sick, I don’t think that’s love — that’s infatuation. Someone who makes you feel like that is exciting — it’s the one that you imagine when you think of an amazing affair — but that’s not actually a stable love.'
